P&O Maritime Logistics fleet to become connected to innovative tool: Cat® Remote Fleet Vision – as part of a Global Value Agreement with Caterpillar

At P&O Maritime Logistics, we are driven by our vision to disrupt the offshore industry for the better. From our projects and clients to our people and policies, we feel a great sense of responsibility to improve the industry, finding energy solutions that benefit generations to come.

Working collaboratively is a big part of our strategy for driving industry-wide change, and we are pleased to be sharing this mantle with leading industrial manufacturer Caterpillar. Together, we will implement our shared vision of increasing and integrating digital technology and solutions for the marine industry.

This October, we signed a Global Value Agreement (GVA) with Caterpillar, who will be providing us with expanded services and connected, digital solutions to increase vessel uptime, drive operational performance and efficiency, and digitally support our fleet. The agreement includes fleet management service, maintenance planning and connectivity coverage for 90 of our vessels. With one of the youngest and most versatile fleets in the OSV industry and operating globally, our vessels will be digitally connected with Cat® Remote Fleet Vision that will be a valuable tool for improving and supporting our services; both P&O Maritime Logistics and Caterpillar with receive data trends, alerts, and capabilities to enable failure preventing analysis.
