Deck Carrier – Module Carrying Vessels (MCVs)

Our Module Carrying Vessels are unlike any other vessels in the global fleet. Purpose-built to transport
project cargo and oversized cargo up to 2,000 tons per unit, these vessels combine shallow draft access,
exceptional maneuverability, and higher ballast capacity pumps for rapid roll-on/roll-off operations.

Unmatched Capabilities

  • Shallow Draft Access: Operating at drafts of just 3 meters, our MCVs navigate river systems,
shallow ports, and restricted waterways inaccessible to standard cargo vessels.
  • 360° Maneuverability: The vessels are highly maneuverable and are able to spin on their own axis
and berth and unberth at any quay without the support of assist tugs. The MCV was demonstrated in Nicaragua,
where it turned mid-river with less than one meter of clearance on each side, and a similar demonstration
was done in ADNOC waters (Zirku Island), where it berthed and unberthed in a confined quay/channel without
    the support of assist tugs.
  • Rapid RO-RO Loading: The vessel is equipped with higher ballast capacity pumps which enable roll-on
or roll-off of a 2,000-ton module within a short span of 30 minutes.

Three Operational Modes

Project Cargo

Our primary service involves transporting oversized modules, pipe racks, bullets, pressure vessels, wind
turbine components, power plant equipment, and heavy infrastructure across oceans, through lock systems, and
deep into inland waterways.

Offshore Support

MCVs operate as a highly efficient alternative to a larger PSV or a tug and barge combo for oil and gas
platforms, delivering pipes, piles, and equipment to offshore fields. They have undertaken multiple offshore
campaigns in African waters and the Persian Gulf region.

Container Feeder

When configured for container carriage, our vessels serve as agile small-capacity feeders or micro feeders to
ensure free flow of trade with shallow draft ports.

Proven Global Performance

Our fleet operates across the most demanding environments worldwide. A single vessel’s six-month itinerary
spans from Arctic waters to the Indian subcontinent.

We have navigated Germany’s narrow inland lock systems, delivered housing modules for Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea
developments, supported offshore operations in Congo and the Ivory Coast, and transported critical cargo 50
kilometres upriver in Nicaragua before turning and sailing back out.

From ice conditions to equatorial heat, our MCVs perform where others cannot.

The MCV Advantage

Compared to traditional barge and tug combinations, our MCVs deliver superior speed, lower fuel consumption,
and reduced operational complexity as a single integrated unit.

Diesel-electric propulsion running on marine gas oil ensures efficiency and lower emissions. Our highly
responsive ballasting system enables rapid adaptation to any cargo configuration, ensuring stability and safe
operations. With our experienced crew, engineering capabilities, and precise navigation planning, we ensure
hassle-free, smooth, and timely delivery of cargo in a safe and secure manner.

Enabling the Energy Transition

MCVs are the carrier of choice for renewable energy infrastructure. We transport wind turbine blades,
monopiles, and tower sections for major wind energy projects globally, directly supporting the transition to
sustainable power generation.

Who We Serve

We partner with project freight forwarders seeking specialist charter solutions and directly with EPC
contractors, oil and gas operators, and energy infrastructure developers requiring long-term vessel
commitments. If your cargo is oversized, your destination is restricted, or your timeline is critical, our
MCVs and exceptional operations teams deliver.
