Amit Jalan

As Corporate Financial Controller at P&O Maritime Logistics, Amit Jalan leads the company’s finance, governance, and compliance functions, ensuring robust financial performance and strong internal controls that support sustainable growth.

Since joining DP World Group in 2007, Amit has held several senior positions in Dubai, including Internal Audit Manager and Group Accounting & Reporting Manager. In his current role at P&O Maritime Logistics, he has been instrumental in transitioning core finance operations to Dubai, enhancing tax efficiency, standardising financial processes, and integrating finance and procurement functions for multiple acquisitions.

Prior to joining DP World, Amit worked with KPMG in Dubai and Ernst & Young in New Delhi, where he led audit and assurance engagements for major corporates and group entities.

Amit is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA, USA). He holds a commerce degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
