Topaz secures Lloyd’s List awards double

Topaz Energy and Marine has secured a double at the glittering Lloyd’s List awards ceremony, scooping two prestigious honours at the annual Lloyd’s List Middle East & Indian Subcontinent Awards.

The awards ceremony, held on Wednesday 10th November at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, saw Topaz Marine MENA accept the ‘Ship owner and Operator’ award and the ‘Energy’ award.

Topaz Marine MENA was recognised by the judges for enhancing customer service even during the downturn leading to an increased customer base. The panel also acknowledged Topaz’s fleet modernisation programme allowing it to provide a more prompt and comprehensive service to the offshore industry.
There to receive the awards, Ron Clark, General Manager of Topaz Marine MENA, commented: “My thanks go to all of the Topaz Marine MENA staff and our crews. These awards truly belong to the entire Topaz Energy and Marine group and we will be very proud to display them on behalf of the whole Topaz family”.

Topaz’s Lloyd’s List awards were won in competition with prominent companies in the maritime community in the Middle East and India. Topaz Marine MENA has won several Lloyd’s List awards in recent years including ‘Safety at Sea’ in 2009.
